MAKE MY DESIGN INC.
Terms & conditions
From a project request to an agreed order, with clear approvals and your legal rights preserved.
Last updated: 29 October 2026
Our business and these terms
Make My Design Inc. provides printing, design and installation services from Unit D4, 1105 Crestlawn Dr, Mississauga, Ontario, L4W 1A7, Canada. Contact info@makemydesign.ca or (437) 605-0404 about a project or these terms.
Read these website terms with the final written quote, specifications and any project terms you accept. A separate agreement can address particular work, but cannot remove rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Browsing, using a calculator or sending a request does not itself create an obligation to buy.
Requests and planning estimates
No payment or order is placed here. Once you approve the final quote and order details, our team will send your confirmed invoice and Interac e-Transfer payment instructions.
Calculator amounts are planning estimates for the selections shown. Read their inclusions and exclusions. Illustrative examples, photographs and previews do not replace agreed specifications. Some products, quantities or services require a custom quote.
An automatic acknowledgement, reference, chat reply or appointment request is not acceptance of a production order. The team reviews the work before confirming a proposal. Calling an amount a planning estimate does not remove any legal protection that applies to an estimate included in a consumer agreement.
Agreeing the work and price
Before proceeding, the written quote or confirmation should identify:
- The product, material, finished size, quantity, printed sides, finishing and agreed design work.
- The price, currency, taxes, shipping or pickup, installation, rush work and any other charges.
- Artwork and proof approvals, payment timing and the conditions for starting production.
- Any confirmed deadline, delivery, installation or takedown arrangements and project cancellation terms.
Amounts are in Canadian dollars unless clearly stated otherwise. Quote validity and any deposit must be stated for the project; this website sets no default deposit percentage or expiry. Material changes or additional charges need your agreement. Editing a calculator does not retrospectively change an accepted order.
You must have an opportunity to correct errors and accept or decline the proposal. We provide a retainable written order record and any disclosures or contract copy required for the way the agreement is made. Mandatory rules can apply to agreements completed by email or away from this website. Keep copies of the agreement and approvals.
Artwork and design rights
Supply only material you are entitled to share and have reproduced, including permissions for photos, logos, fonts and licensed content. Tell us about relevant restrictions. We may request permission evidence or decline unlawful or harmful content.
You retain rights you already hold in your material. You authorise its use as reasonably needed to assess, discuss and carry out the requested project, including necessary sharing with production providers. Submission does not authorise portfolio or advertising use of artwork, guest information or photographs; that needs separate permission.
A design-services scope should specify deliverables, revisions, editable source files and the rights or licences you receive. Payment alone does not establish an unagreed transfer of every design, font or stock-image right. We discuss required third-party licences and reuse restrictions before approval.
Proofs and print expectations
Check the final proof and specifications: names, dates, spelling, contact details, page order, dimensions, quantity, placement and cut or fold lines. Raise errors before approving production. Later changes can affect work already completed, price and timing; we confirm revised arrangements.
A screen preview helps assess layout but is not a calibrated physical colour sample. Material, ink and display conditions affect appearance. Discuss critical colour matching, samples, finishes and tolerances before accepting the quote. These terms do not invent a permitted variation or excuse failure to meet an agreed specification.
Approval records what was agreed. It does not waive statutory rights or automatically make you responsible for a mistake introduced by us after approval.
Payment after review
This website has no checkout and does not collect card numbers or automatically confirm payment. Interac e-Transfer is available after project review and a confirmed invoice. Credit card, debit card and pay-later options are coming soon on this website. Payment timing and any deposit are agreed in writing. See our payment options for current instructions.
Use instructions supplied through a verified conversation. Check the business, reference, scope and amount before paying. Verify unexpected payment-instruction changes using our published phone number. Never put card details, banking passwords or verification codes into forms, chat or artwork.
QuickBooks remains a separate invoicing and accounting service under Intuit’s terms. This website has no automated QuickBooks connection. Klarna and other pay-later services are not currently offered through the website.
Changes and cancellation
Contact us promptly if you need to change or cancel. A request that has not become an order does not itself incur a cancellation charge.
For an agreed custom order, change-of-mind cancellation can be affected by authorised work already completed or materials committed to your project. Any reasonable, non-recoverable charge must be supported by the work and terms you agreed, subject to applicable law. This page imposes no blanket “all sales final” rule, automatic restocking fee or non-refundable deposit.
Statutory cancellation, refund and other remedies prevail wherever applicable, including for custom goods. We explain the work status and any proposed refund or remaining charge rather than treat approval or payment as a waiver.
Defects, damage and remedies
If work arrives damaged, appears defective or differs from agreed specifications, contact us with the reference, description and useful photos. Keep the item and packaging available during review unless unsafe. Prompt reporting helps; this page does not shorten a legal claim deadline.
We review the agreed specifications, work supplied and applicable rights. Correction, reprint, replacement or refund may be appropriate according to the circumstances and legal requirements. A legally required remedy is not restricted to store credit or reprinting.
Dates, collection and delivery
A requested date is a commitment only when confirmed in the written order. Production and delivery are separate stages. The agreed schedule should account for approvals, stock, payment requirements and delivery or pickup. If circumstances change, we communicate the effect and discuss the next step.
Provide an accurate address and tell us about access restrictions, receiving hours or critical event dates before accepting the quote. Extra costs for a requested change must be explained and agreed where required. Carrier delays or events outside a party’s control do not automatically remove statutory rights or excuse every responsibility.
Installation and event-site work
Installation, removal and takedown are included only if stated in the accepted scope. Provide the venue, surface, measurements, access, setup windows and known hazards. Where you control the premises, arrange the agreed access and obtain the owner’s or venue’s permission.
We review suitability with you. Work can pause if a site is unsafe, unsuitable or materially different from the brief. We explain the issue and agree any required scope, timing or cost changes before proceeding. Preparation, existing damage, protection and reinstatement responsibilities should be recorded for the project.
Permission to install is not a blanket waiver for damage or negligent work. Each party retains its legal duties. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Appointments, chat and website use
Appointments remain requests until the team confirms the time and method. Website times use Toronto time. Chat availability indicates recent team presence, not an immediate-response guarantee. Use direct contact for urgent matters.
Use the website lawfully. Do not upload malware, impersonate others, access private records, send unsolicited messages through the service or interfere with its operation. Website content and tools can contain material owned by us or licensed to us; access does not grant unrestricted reproduction rights.
Services and external links can be interrupted. Safeguards cannot guarantee an error-free service or protection from every attack. Any liability limit for a project must be expressly agreed and lawful; no undisclosed cap applies through this page.
Your rights and questions
Ontario and applicable federal Canadian law generally inform our agreements, subject to mandatory laws applying to the transaction or your location. These terms do not require exclusive arbitration, surrender of class-proceeding rights, a particular court or waiver of non-excludable consumer protections.
Contact info@makemydesign.ca about a concern. You can also use legal complaint processes and remedies; contacting us does not remove those rights. Our Privacy policy and Cookies & storage explain information handling.
Updates are dated above and do not retrospectively replace an existing order agreement. If a provision cannot lawfully apply, the remaining terms operate only as permitted by law.
